Q. How should I plan my skin treatments so I look perfect on my wedding day?

This is a question we get a lot from brides, bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride. We’ve simplified it down to the four-three-two-one rule.
Four months out
This is a great time for a consult to get a personalised skin plan and start on some active skin care. This will allow your skincare two-three skin cycles to work from the inside (12-18 weeks). We recommend the ZO Phase II pack, which is full of vitamins and antioxidants and if your skin needs a bit more help, we can add a strong retinol for night time. If you have troubled skin (acne, pigmentation) come and have your consult a couple of months prior.
Three months out
Now we can start working on issues such as sagging, dull or loose skin, as well as pigmentation and acne scarring. With Sublative RF, skin needling, or elos treatments (depending on your concern) we can get three to four treatments in, finishing three or four weeks before the big day.
Two months out
At two months, we address any volume concerns you have. Cheek and lip fillers are very popular to have done at this point and will give you a nice, natural boost without looking overdone. It also allows one month for everything to settle and then we can do a top up treatment in one month, if required, to ensure optimal results.
One month out
Now we can focus on fine lines (think smile lines for the camera and frown lines from squinting) using anti-wrinkle treatments. A review two weeks before the wedding will allow us to ensure results are perfect.
Bonus one to two weeks out
This is where we can give the final push if needed. An additional needling session or chemical peel will allow us to help you put your best skin forward.

When you say wedding, I hear stress! The benefits of exercise for stress relief are well known, those little feel-good endorphins will melt away the thought of the future mother-in-law’s ‘helpful advice’, while melting away some unwanted kilos at the same time.
