THE GOURMET EDIT: Guilt-Free Chocolate Mousse
If you, like me, have vowed to start the New Year with a healthier mindset but struggle to curb those sweet-toothed cravings, I have just the recipe that will help you. It’s very quick to make, so you can easily whip it up after dinner for a cheeky dessert, or a guilt-free snack when the cravings kick in.
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 ripe avocadoes
- 1 large ripe banana
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup desiccated coconut
- sprinkle of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of coconut essence
Put all of the ingredients into food processor and mix until all ingredients are smooth and well combined.
Spoon into a dish and sprinkle with a little coconut to serve.
