Breast Cancer Awareness Family Fun Day
OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH The Coastal Family Health Team are going PINK
FAMILY FUN DAY- Saturday 13th October 12pm-3pm
BULK-BILLED BREAST CHECKS
We are hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness Family Fun Day on the Coastal Family Health premises car park and you are invited.
The event will coincide with our bulk-billed breast checks for the month of October. Our aim as a practice is to educate the community on the importance of breast checks and how important it is to check your own breasts.
We would like to invite the wider community and local businesses to participate and contribute to this cause to advocate the importance of breast checks.
It is estimated that in 2018, 18,087 Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer or approximately 49 each day. Approximately 28% of new cancers diagnosed in women in 2017 were breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in women.
We want to open this day up to people of all ages for a day of fun while educating and promoting breast cancer awareness. All proceeds raised during the event be donated evenly to our two charities of choice:
+ McGrath Foundation
+ Cancer Council- Pink Ribbon
The Team at Coastal can’t wait to see you there
