Dust off your cowboy boots and put on your Stetson, for a boot scootin’, yee-haw of a time at the Stella Muster. This year’s school fair fundraiser will take place on Saturday 13th August 2016, between 11am and 4pm at Stella Maris Catholic School, Maroochydore. This jam packed, family fun day has something for everyone, with inflatables, roving performers, fairground rides, lots of interactive entertainment, talent show, fancy dress, art exhibitions, scrumptious food and so much more.
Come and enjoy an action-packed day with a rolling program of entertainment that includes country music star Olivia Robins, as well as local musicians, indigenous artists and cultural displays from the Torres Strait. Carrying on the outback spectacular theme, there will be roving cowboys, whip crackers and square dancers, as well as hula hoop performers, stilt walkers, jugglers and balloon twisters. Get ready to make some noise, at the amazing, interactive drumming arena, where kids can participate with up to 150 other children at a time!
Bliss Oval at Stella Maris School will be transformed into a riot of colour with hundreds of check-shirted mini cowboys and cowgirls, taking part in a melee of interactive cultural entertainment and arts. Country Muster is the fancy dress theme for kids and kids at heart, but you can choose your own theme, or just come as yourself; it’s about having fun.
Chow down on some cowboy tucker, or pick from a host of delicious food stalls. Visit sideshow alley for Muster show-bags, outdoor games, attractions and walkabouts, hand-made crafts, face painting and so much more.
‘The Stella Muster is going to be a fantastic day of music, food and community, with a real country music festival vibe. We have planned an interactive fusion of arts and culture, so you can really get involved, play music, dance, eat, have fun and leave with a huge smile on your face. So round up the posse and come along for a yee-haw of a time,’ said Vivienne Flower, Convenor.
The Stella Muster is proudly supported by local businesses Ford Brothers Fencing, GT Print, Win News and Fernwood Fitness Maroochydore.
