Based on the true story of American entrepreneur Joy Mangano, who founded a business dynasty from the invention of household products, Joy is an uplifting, relatable tale to inspire women in business and life.

Starring the talents of Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro (their third film together as a trio), supported by Edgar Ramirez, Isabella Rossellini, Diane Ladd, and Virginia Madsen, the movie defies genre to tell a story of family, loyalty, and love.

Joy is the story of a family across four generations centred on the girl who becomes a businesswoman and matriarch in her own right. Themes including betrayal, treachery, the loss of innocence, scars of love, allies and adversaries, emotion and human comedy feature, as Joy becomes the true boss of family and enterprise in a tricky world, using her inner life and imagination to carry her through.
