Matthew Flinders Anglican College has a reputation for being one of the highest performing academic schools in Queensland. The modern facilities, combined with co-curricular activities, wellbeing resources and Christian values, set students up for excellence in all areas of life.
College Principal Stuart Meade says the College’s tagline, Educating for Excellence in Learning and Life, and the use of six crucial learner traits; character, citizenship, collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking, help enable young people to achieve in today’s society.
Matthew Flinders Anglican College teachers are dedicated to educating for excellence in learning and life, and aim to inspire Prep to Year 12 students to learn, lead and to serve.
With the new year in full swing, the school has a calendar full of key dates for new and existing students and their families.
The Year seven 2020 Information Evening will be held on Tuesday, 26 February. Students and their families can learn about the innovative Middle School program, and discover how a Flinders education will benefit students as they enter Secondary School.
Principal Mr Stuart Meade also invites you to tour the Secondary School at the Principal’s Secondary School Tour on Tuesday, 5 March. The tour provides a unique opportunity to experience first-hand the extensive array of opportunities available to Flinders students and hear from our leading Secondary School educators about what distinguishes a Flinders education.
Finally, Flinders Scholarships will close on Friday, 15 March.
